Licensed Professional Counselor
I am a National Board Certified Licensed Professional Counselor, and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional with over ten years of experience in education and counseling. I began my career as a Special Education Teacher in Texas before advancing to roles as a School Counselor and School Administrator.
I earned my second Master’s Degree in Counseling and Human Services and I am currently pursuing a Certificate of Advanced Study in Play Therapy at Sacred Heart University.
I am an active member of several professional associations, including the
Connecticut Counseling Association, American Counseling Association, and American
School Counseling Association.
I am Passionate about providing access to mental health services for all, and have
worked with clients from diverse backgrounds. I specialize in treating Anxiety,
Depression, Trauma, Grief, Mood Disorders, School Avoidance, Social Challenges,
Self-Esteem, and Emotional Regulation. Currently, I work full-time as a Clinician
at a private school for students with language based learning disabilities.
When I am not at work I enjoy reading, traveling, or learning to cook a new pasta dish!
